Fourth Sunday after Epiphany


Message from the Rector

Luke places the story of Jesus’ visit to the Nazareth Synagogue at the very beginning of the Lord’s ministry in Galilee, not because of concern for chronology, but because this story provides a key perspective to understanding Jesus’ ministry. It shed light into the ministry of the early church recorded in the book of Acts (also written by Luke). It is the story of Jesus and the early church; a story that inspires the church today to identify with Christ’s teaching, leadership and challenge.
