Message from Fr Melusi

The Easter story starts at a tomb in Jerusalem where some of the disciples of Jesus, arriving very early in the morning, are shocked to find an empty crypt. Christ’s body is not in the grave anymore and the disciples are stunned by the sudden turn of events. The stone at the mouth of the tomb has been rolled away. What could have happened; has someone stolen the body of the Lord – the disciples begin to speculate in fear and confusion. As John’s Gospel tells us, among the people who are worried and concerned is a woman called Mary Magdalene, someone who followed Jesus in his Judean ministry and a friend of the other disciples including Simon Peter.:......
